Two charges, and they are unrelated.

The seat

The right to run one agent — its container, its volume, keeping it up. Billed monthly or annually, and it does not depend on how much the agent thinks.

The balance

What pays for thinking. Every model call and every web search draws on it. It is consumption, and it is nothing like a subscription.
A stopped agent still costs its seat and stops costing balance. An agent running all month with nothing to do costs its seat and almost no balance. The two move independently, which is why they are two numbers.

What a seat costs

Seats get cheaper per agent as you add them — six rungs, from $30 down to $20 per seat per month. The whole ladder, monthly and annual, is on the pricing page, which reads the same table the checkout charges from. A seat comes in two shapes:

Where the money sits

Balance is not one pot but three — your account, the agent’s reserve, and the agent’s provider key. How thinking is paid for explains which is which, and why an agent can have money and still not be able to spend it.

Ways to pay

A card through Stripe, crypto through Heleket, or an existing balance. A seat can be paid from your balance instead of a card — see Plans and seats.
Saving a card charges nothing. It is used to top up your balance; hosting and AI credit are then paid from that balance.
