Four steps. The only decision that costs money is the second one, and the amount is on screen before the button that charges it.

Create your account

Sign up at privateclawd.com/register with an email and password, or with Google. If someone referred you, or you have a promo code, there is a field for it on that form — it is easier to enter now than to apply later.
You land on Choose your plan, which is step 1 of 2.

Choose a plan

A seat is the right to run one agent. Pick the billing period, how many agents you want, and whether AI credit is included in the seat or bought separately. The ledger on the right shows the per-agent price, the billing frequency and the total before you continue. Nothing is charged until you confirm at the payment provider. You can pay by card, by crypto, or from an account balance you have already topped up. See Plans and seats.

Name your first agent

Step 2 of 2 asks for one thing: a name. That is the whole form. Skills, channels, browser behaviour and the agent’s personality are configured inside the agent later, not here.Press the button and the agent starts deploying.

Wait for it to come up, then open it

Deploying provisions a container and a volume and starts OpenClaw inside it. It takes under five minutes; the agent’s page shows an estimate that the platform refines from its own measured runs. When the status reads running, Open Control UI becomes the primary action on the page. That is the agent’s own interface — where you talk to it, connect it to Telegram or WhatsApp, and give it skills.
You have a running agent. Everything after this is done inside it.

What to do next

Set a budget

A daily or monthly ceiling per agent, before it has had time to spend anything.

Connect Telegram

Telegram Hub reaches every agent on your account through one bot.

Choose the model

Switch model or provider, or point the agent at a key of your own.

Watch what it costs

Burn rate, runway, and the spend of each agent side by side.

If the agent does not start

An agent can be created and still not start — most often because the platform has no room for a new container at that moment. The seat is paid for and stays yours, and starting it again costs nothing. The page says so and offers to retry. Troubleshooting covers the other cases.
